Job summary

Moody's Banking Sales team seeks an Associate Director - Relationship Manager to manage senior banking client relationships across Europe and Africa, driving growth with Moody’s data, analytics, research and technology solutions.

You will build strategic partnerships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and expand Moody’s footprint across multiple business lines while navigating complex banking environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Banking or related discipline.
• Proven track record selling to banks and financial institutions.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience building strategic long-term client partnerships.
• Familiar with risk management and regulatory considerations in banking.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales lifecycle for a portfolio of banking clients, deepen strategic relationships and drive growth across Europe and Africa.
• Drive strategic engagement with key banking customers, understanding priorities and growth objectives.
• Retain and renew banking portfolio by identifying risks, strengthening executive relationships and delivering value.
• Identify and deliver opportunities that create value through banking solutions and partnerships.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives across bank leadership, risk, finance, treasury and lending.
• Develop and execute account strategies to expand Moody’s footprint within existing clients and new opportunities.
• Prospect and win new banking customers in Europe & Africa, converting whitespace into long-term relationships.
• Serve as primary relationship owner, coordinating internal teams to address opportunities and issues.
• Collaborate across Moody’s teams to deliver an integrated customer experience and successful execution.
• Maintain pipeline management, forecasting and reporting to achieve revenue objectives.
• Represent Moody’s at industry events to strengthen market presence and relationships.
• Dynamic work environment with up to 50% travel and hybrid working flexibility.
