Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with scalable systems.
• Experience with asynchronous queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proven ability to design and ship backend services.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for your areas, addressing debt, reliability, scalability and security.
• Design and implement robust backend systems with clean APIs.
• Integrate with risk and compliance systems to ensure Wise remains compliant.
• Lead the delivery of large-scale initiatives and collaborate across teams.
