Job summary

Reap is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to own backend features end-to-end, from spec to production. You’ll build services in Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS or Elysia) on AWS, handling stablecoin-backed payments infrastructure for global clients.

You’ll work directly with product and business stakeholders in a fully remote, async team, driving velocity and architectural decisions while applying security and testing best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with Node.js and TypeScript, RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on AWS experience with Lambda, SQS, Aurora.
• Strong SQL fundamentals and relational DB knowledge.
• Familiarity with event-driven and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end: write specs, design, build, deploy.
• Design and maintain backend services in Node.js/TypeScript.
• Work with AWS services for scalable, resilient systems.
• Manage data with Postgres and Aurora.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders in a remote team.
