Formula. is a well-backed fintech scaling rapidly, seeking a backend centric Senior Software Engineer to own design, architecture and delivery of core infrastructure. You’ll shape systems, mentor peers and drive high quality, scalable solutions.

Expect work across payment ecosystems, cloud-native services, and automated pipelines in a fast-paced environment. Central London office with equity and strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with payments systems and high-volume transaction environments.
• Strong Typescript and Node.js experience as core development tech.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own design, architecture, and delivery of core backend infrastructure.
• Mentor other engineers and make autonomous decisions on complex problems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable systems.
