Our client in Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to develop new business and strengthen existing customer relationships across manufacturing and related sectors. The role combines account development with proactive new business activity, working with steel, metal processing and fabrication customers.

You will identify opportunities, coordinate with estimating and production, and drive quotations through to order while building a structured pipeline and pursuing long-term strategic

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales within steel, metal processing, fabrication or engineering.
• Proven ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
• Comfort discussing pricing, margins and customer requirements.

Responsabilités

• Develop new business opportunities across steel processing and fabrication markets.
• Grow and manage existing customer accounts.
• Build relationships with engineering, manufacturing and procurement contacts.
• Identify opportunities in laser cutting, plasma cutting and profiling services.
• Collaborate with estimating, production and operations to deliver viable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and progress opportunities to order.
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline and develop long-term relationships.
• Monitor market activity and identify growth sectors.
