AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Service Transition Lead to ensure the controlled transition of services from project delivery into the Run & Operate model for the HMRC DCE programme. You will bridge delivery and operations, ensuring documentation, testing, and acceptance before live service.

The role requires coordinating transition plans, evidence-based handovers, and knowledge transfer to the Run & Operate team, while engaging with HMRC stakeholders and maintaining the service catalogue

Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder management across multiple levels of an organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead service transition, ITIL aligned, in large IT transformations.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS or public cloud) and operational readiness assessments.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end service transition for workloads migrating from HMRC data centre to AWS platform.
• Develop and maintain the Service Transition Plan aligned with milestones and Day 1 readiness.
• Define and manage service acceptance criteria with the R&O Lead for go-live readiness.
• Chair AWS Service Transition Review Boards to approve handovers from delivery to Run & Operate.
