Job summary

CreateFuture is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer embedded in a client's platform team to own the reliability, scalability, and evolution of their AWS infrastructure. You’ll influence with authority, translate platform priorities into a clear roadmap, and drive delivery across engineering and business stakeholders.

The role blends deep technical expertise with leadership, requiring independent work, strong architectural judgement, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS platform engineering experience.
• Ability to design reliable platform capabilities and governance.
• Experience turning requirements into auditable work and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reliable AWS platform capabilities, including federated identity.
• Assess the current platform and prioritise work through year-end.
• Collaborate with architects and BAs to implement requirements into actionable tasks.
• Lead and mentor a platform/infrastructure team and manage stakeholders.
