Job summary

CreateFuture in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Lead engineer embedded in the client platform team to ensure reliability, scalability and evolution of their infrastructure on AWS. The role blends deep technical work with team leadership, stakeholder engagement and delivery planning to translate platform priorities into a clear roadmap.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS cloud engineering and platform design experience.
• Ability to work independently, navigate an unfamiliar estate and make sound technical judgments.
• Experience with federated identity and complex integrations.
• Experience working in regulated environments with risk, assurance and design controls.
• Strong operational mindset with incident management and on-call expertise.
• Proven experience leading a platform or infrastructure engineering team.
• Strong stakeholder management, translating complexity into clear priorities.
