Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Account Manager for the Home Office to drive cloud adoption of AWS across the department, engaging at the Permanent Secretary and CXO level as well as with developers and IT architects.

You will shape coverage plans, run workshops, and collaborate with solutions architects and partners to deliver secure data and analytics proposals for public safety missions. A self-starter capable of navigating government procurement processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience representing AWS to senior customers and driving discussions on trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
• Experience leading development of department strategy in a government context.
• Experience with government procurement and contracting processes.
• Experience building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on revenue, adoption and market penetration.
• Experience engaging SVP/VP/C-Suite executives.
• SC (Security Check) or higher clearance, or willingness to undergo clearance.

Responsibilities

• Increase AWS adoption across the Home Office and position AWS as a key technology platform provider.
• Engage Permanent Secretary and CXO level as well as developers and IT architects.
• Develop and execute a coverage plan aligned to the department's priorities.
• Engage with digital leadership to modernise border and immigration platforms and shape secure data/analytics proposals.
• Lead workshops and pipeline reviews with customers and partners across border security, migration and crime reduction.
