Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in the UK is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to join a government-focused delivery team. You will work on full-stack development with Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and React, in a Hybrid, permanent role.

You will own solutions end-to-end, collaborating with stakeholders, and shaping CI/CD pipelines using GitLab on AWS/Azure, while upholding modern software engineering practices and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and React experience for full-stack development.
Cloud experience with AWS or Azure and modern CI/CD practices.
Agile software development and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Full-stack software development using Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and React
Designing, developing and testing high-quality software
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with tools such as GitLab
Working with AWS and Azure cloud environments
Contributing across the full software lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through to deployment and ongoing support
Working closely with customers and technical stakeholders
Taking technical leadership responsibility where appropriate to your experience
