Job summary

JMC Aviation in Lasham, Hampshire is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead key customer accounts, manage contracts and deliver services within a thriving MRO context. You will drive commercial performance, shape customer relationships and mentor junior Account Managers to maximise value and retention.

The role requires deep aviation commercial experience, strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate across Production, Planning and Materials to support growth and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an aviation commercial, account management or customer-facing role.
• Extensive aviation commercial experience with proven capability in contract management and negotiations.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance operations and commercial processes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support others.
• Excellent commercial acumen and contract management capability.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience managing expectations and maximising contract value.
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to build long-term relationships.
• Sound understanding of Part-145 maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Manage contracts, commercial requirements and customer relationships.
• Maximise contract value in line with commercial terms.
• Attend and represent the business at customer meetings and reviews.
• Prepare and issue contract briefs to operational teams.
• Review, negotiate and obtain approval for additional Customer Work Requests.
• Liaise with Production, Planning and Materials teams.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Ensure work orders, billing and invoicing align with KPIs.
• Produce post-input performance summaries and customer reports.
• Support proposal preparation, quotations and contract renewals.
• Lead, mentor and support Account Managers.
• Deputise for the Commercial Director when required.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction, retention and repeat business.
