Job summary

M&G plc is recruiting for a Senior Associate in London to own origination and execution of bulk annuities and other de-risking opportunities. You will liaise with EBCs, trustees and external partners, driving progress across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, project management and the ability to deliver high-quality client deliverables in a fast-growing area of the business.

Qualifications

• Commercial mindset with strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in bulk annuity transactions or similar client-facing roles.
• Excellent project management and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, solutions-oriented and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of marketing, origination and execution of bulk annuities and de-risking opportunities.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and respond to queries promptly.
• Engage with Employee Benefit Consultants and professional trustees as a key contact.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and outsourcing partners to align workstreams.
• Explain novel bulk annuity structures and reinsurances to stakeholders.
• Produce governance papers, presentations and client responses with high quality.
