Job summary

M&G in London is seeking an Associate for Origination & Execution in the Pension Risk Transfer team. You will support the origination and execution of bulk annuities and other de-risking opportunities, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver strong client propositions.

The role focuses on engagement with EBC and trustees, developing transaction structures and delivering high-quality client materials with senior support.

Qualifications

• Commercial focus with ability to produce high-quality client deliverables.
• Understanding of bulk annuity transactions or similar client-facing work.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to capture client needs.
• Self-motivated team player with initiative and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Supporting marketing, origination and execution of bulk annuities and other de-risking opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and support ad-hoc queries.
• Engage with EBC and Professional Trustee market; prepare timely responses.
• Coordinate across business and outsourcing partners to align commercial, investment, longevity, pricing, legal and structuring workstreams.
• Develop understanding of bulk annuity structures, reinsurance solutions and new product lines.
• Produce high-quality deliverables for clients and senior stakeholders (presentations, quotes, responses to requests).
