Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Associate Director to lead safety-case delivery and strategic leadership across the UK’s nuclear portfolio. You will shape complex safety studies, manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure regulatory alignment while driving high-value projects.

You will supervise technical reporting, mentor consultants and contribute to business growth through client engagement and proposals in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or sciences with nuclear sector leadership experience.
• Chartered status or progression towards it is advantageous.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex safety case projects and assure technical quality.
• Engage regulators and clients to secure approvals and align on strategy.
• Oversee reporting, documentation and peer reviews for safety cases.
• Mentor and develop consultants to strengthen technical capability.
• Support business growth through proposals and client relationships.
