Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Associate Director to lead complex safety case projects across the UK's nuclear landscape, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality outputs.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage resources and finances, and shape strategy with senior leadership. The role offers hybrid working with offices in Warrington, West Cumbria and Basingstoke, and a clear path to Technical Director for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or scientific discipline with significant nuclear sector leadership experience.
• Experience delivering safety case projects in regulated, safety-critical environments.
• Chartered status, or progression towards it, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex safety case assessments across defence, decommissioning and energy projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to produce, review and assure technical documentation.
• Drive business growth through client engagement and opportunity identification.
