Job summary

SAS Institute, Inc. is hiring a Senior Associate Account Executive - Life Sciences in the UK. Based in London or Marlow with a hybrid model, you will leverage existing relationships and develop new ones to drive growth in the Life Sciences life.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in selling complex SaaS software solutions or IT services to business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience in account mapping and navigating a complex ecosystem.
• Fluent in English and able to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Sell software, solutions and services; work with pre-sales and domain personnel to position opportunities and retain customers within the territory.
• Prospect within a territory to uncover business needs.
• Manage territory and accounts; qualify and progress opportunities through the sales cycle; forecast close timelines.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and executives to respond to qualified, high-revenue opportunities.
• Prepare quotations and proposals; coordinate with other departments to finalize contracts and delivery schedules.
• Follow up with customers to assess satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities.
• Develop understanding of pricing, licensing procedures and approvals.
• Travel as needed; contribute to strategy and execution to achieve revenue targets.
