GHA are seeking a Full time Senior Agent’s Assistant with Junior Agent responsibilities working closely with the Managing Director and sole Agent at a boutique agency representing a range of award-winning TV & film writers, producers and directors. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a scriptwriter’s or similar agency and it is crucial they have a good level of contracts and negotiation experience and knowledge of the film/TV industry. The role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience as part of a 2-person team, with training to be provided. The ideal candidate will be given the opportunity to develop and grow within the company, taking on more responsibilities over time.
The position is full time for a fixed term 12-month contract. Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Training on scriptwriter and, where relevant, director contracts will be provided both virtually and in person at a mutually agreed location. This is predominantly a remote working role (a company laptop and phone will be provided) with 1 day a week in person at the MD’s home office in Cambridge (return train fare to London or elsewhere within the M25 or equivalent cost to be covered) with the potential for a London based office/desk further down the line. Being London based is not essential, but travel to London will be required to attend in person meetings with colleagues, clients and industry contacts approximately once per week so the candidate will ideally be within commuting distance of London.
