Job summary

Noel Gay is recruiting for a maternity-cover role in the performers department. The position is fully remote but works closely with the current Agent on a shared list. A strong theatre/film/TV knowledge base and initiative are essential.

The candidate should be prepared to visit London and other UK locations for occasional client shows and meetings. Ideal candidates will have at least three years in a talent agency, excellent industry knowledge, and be comfortable with marketing, invoicing, and

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in a talent agency.
• Broad knowledge of the entertainment industry, including industry standards and terms.
• Familiarity with Spotlight, Tagmin, Microsoft Office and Outlook, video editing software and other tools.
• Clear communication skills and approachable phone/email manner.
• Efficiency and organisation with strong attention to detail.
• Negotiation, strategy and management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and react quickly to changing situations.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and client shows, primarily in London and occasionally around the UK.
• A passion for theatre, TV and film.
• Discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Work with existing clients across screen, stage, actor-musos, MT, comedians, writers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
• Provide support, advice and strategy on career progression and complex situations.
• Handle job submissions and suggestions for opportunities.
• Involve marketing, including social media activities.
• Keep across industry developments, including PMA and Equity involvement.
• Invoicing and money chasing.
• Manage multiple client schedules, projects and deals.
• Detailed administration, including diary management.

A passion for – and excellent knowledge of – theatre, film and TV is a must, along with a willingness to get stuck in and work fully remote but closely with the existing Agent on a shared list. You’ll need excellent industry knowledge and bags of initiative.

The role will include some or all of the below depending on experience:

• Working with existing clients with a range of skill sets (e.g. screen, stage, actor-muso, MT, comedians, writers)
• Maintaining strong and trusting relationships with clients
• Building relationships with industry professionals
• Providing support, advice and strategy on career progression and complex professional situations
• Job submissions and suggestions
• Marketing, including social media
• Keeping across key developments in the industry, including involvement with the PMA and Equity
• Invoicing and money chasing
• Ability to spin many plates across changing client schedules, projects and deals
• Detailed administration, including diary management

Although talent agency experience is a must,in an ideal world you willalsoneed all of the below, but we’d still love to hear from you ifyou meet some of criteria and are looking for an opportunity to hit the ground running:
