Job summary

BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited is seeking a Lead Asset Manager based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working arrangements. The role oversees operational, contractual, and financial performance of a solar asset portfolio and leads a team of Asset Managers and Solar Analysts.

UK travel is required to support clients and site operations. The role combines technical, commercial, and leadership responsibilities to maximise asset performance, contractual compliance, and long-term value for clients

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
• Experience managing technical operations of solar assets.
• Understanding of solar tech, SCADA systems and UK HSE legislation.
• Proven contract management experience.
• Attention to detail with data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills.
• Valid driver's licence required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients and site owners.
• Oversee a portfolio of solar assets, coordinating internal teams and external contractors.
• Manage O&M contracts and identify opportunities to expand services and revenue.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and commercial decision-making.
• Lead and develop a team of Asset Managers and Solar Analysts, promoting excellence.
