Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced asset management professional to join the Water Utilities Division in the UK. The role focuses on shaping long-term asset strategies, investment planning, and delivering client-focused infrastructure investment solutions across the UK and internationally.

You will lead strategic asset management projects, mentor teams, and collaborate with water companies and infrastructure organisations to improve asset performance and value.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification with experience in asset management in water, consultancy or utility sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across asset management projects.
• Lead delivery of strategic asset management, investment planning and business case development.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a senior technical advisor.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop data-driven investment and asset management solutions.
• Support business development including proposals and client engagement.
• Manage project delivery, budgets and resources; mentor colleagues.
