Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an Architectural Technologist for its Preston, Lancashire office. This technically focused role involves delivering detailed technical information and coordinating with consultants to produce robust design solutions across healthcare, life-science, higher-education, defence and manufacturing sectors.

You will translate design concepts into deliverable drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, ensure compliance with UK building regulations, and support

Qualifications

Proven experience in an architectural practice or design environment.
Strong technical knowledge with ability to produce detailed construction information.
Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction packages across all project stages.
Translate design concepts into deliverable technical solutions with architects/design teams.
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, planning requirements and industry standards.
Coordinate with external consultants, contractors and suppliers to support project delivery.
Assist in planning applications, building regulations submissions and tender documentation.
Undertake site visits and liaise with contractors to ensure design intent is maintained.
Support project delivery to meet programmes, budgets and quality standards.
