Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist in Greater Manchester on a hybrid/flexible basis. You will join a design-led practice delivering UK projects, taking concepts through to construction and coordinating technical information.

Key requirements include a minimum of 5 years post-qualification UK experience, CIAT registration or equivalent, strong Revit skills, knowledge of BIM Level 2, NBS standards, and a solid grasp of Building Regulations

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in the UK.
• CIAT registration or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience in detailed design and technical delivery.
• Strong Revit experience.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 is advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of NBS and construction standards.
• Thorough understanding of Building Regulations and Building Safety Act.
• Ability to coordinate information and manage design changes.
• Proactive, self-motivated and collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate detailed architectural and technical information.
• Lead elements of the detailed design process through to construction.
• Translate design concepts into buildable, robust solutions.
• Coordinate information with internal teams, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Produce and develop drawings and information using Revit.
• Manage design changes and respond to design evolution.
• Ensure compliance with construction standards and legislation.
• Apply Building Regulations and Building Safety Act requirements.
• Collaborate positively in a team-focused environment.
