Penguin Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join their Birmingham studio, offering a hybrid work arrangement.

The role requires delivering projects from inception to completion, with proficiency in Revit and a strong grasp of UK building regulations. The successful candidate will have a degree in Architectural Technology, substantial UK practice experience (Healthcare sector is a plus), and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology or related discipline.
• Proficient with Revit.
• Significant post qualification experience as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice.
• Experience managing projects within Healthcare sector.
• Excellent working knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Chartered or working towards CIAT membership is desirable.
• Excellent technical detailing and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of projects from inception through to completion.
• Prepare building regulation packages and submit planning applications.
• Carry out site visits and undertake surveys to ensure technical compliance.
• Liaise with clients and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
