Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified in Architecture (RIBA part 1/2/3 or equivalent).
• Strong design and technical skills with Revit proficiency.
• UK-based experience with at least 5 years in practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery from concept through to completion.
• Liaise with clients to understand their business goals.
• Ensure compliance with current building regulations and standards.
• Manage planning applications and building regulations submissions.
• Visit site for inspections and progress checks.
• Support business development and bid activities.
• Develop detailed Revit models and drawing packages.

Senior Architectural Technologist role has arisen in Birmingham, offering £38,000 to £48,000 per annum depending on experience. This full-time position sits within an architectural consultancy in the city centre, working across education, healthcare, leisure, industrial, commercial, heritage and residential sectors. This is a permanent post.

Senior Architectural Technologist, Birmingham, £38k - £48k+ DOE

Opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join an Architectural consultancy in the centre of Birmingham. Working across a variety of project sectors to include education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and commercial, heritage and residential. The practice have a large amount of healthcare work and specialists in this area, therefore experience in healthcare would be desirable however not essential.

You will join a medium size team of 30 working across a variety of projects leading and managing the projects through all RIBA stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of projects from concept through to completion
• Liaising Clients to understand their business goals
• Working towards the latest building regulations and technical standards
• Managing planning applications, and building regulations
• Solving any issues that may arise
• Working towards fixed budgets and times deadlines
• Assist on planning applications and appeals
• Visit site for inspections
• Assist in business development
• Develop detailed Revit modes and drawing packages

Requirements

• Relevant qualification within Architecture
• Strong design and technical skills Revit is essential
• UK Based experience with a minimum of 5 years in practice experience
