Job summary

Invesco in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to provide strategic technology leadership across the Client Engagement Platforms portfolio, shaping architecture, roadmaps and target-state capabilities. The role guides the future of client engagement technologies from CRM to AI-enabled engagement, acting as a trusted adviser to senior business and technology leaders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise or solution architecture within large organisations.
• Experience shaping CRM, Marketing Automation and digital platform capabilities.
• Proven ability to define technology roadmaps and target-state architectures.
• Ability to influence senior executives on technology investments.
• Experience leading platform modernisation, cloud transformation and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target-state architecture, roadmaps and design principles across CRM, Marketing Automation, client engagement and AI-enabled platforms.
• Lead evolution of client engagement tech ecosystem to remain scalable, secure and aligned with business needs.
• Develop strategies for composable, API-first and cloud-native capabilities to improve agility.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered capabilities for engagement, automation and personalization.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable capabilities and investment priorities.
• Establish governance frameworks and standards to ensure security, compliance and operational excellence.
• Provide architectural leadership for strategic partnerships and long-term technology decisions.
• Serve as the technical authority on major initiatives and drive successful delivery.
