Job summary

Invesco EMEA seeks a Principal Architect to define and lead cloud architecture across Digital Platforms. You will shape architectures for web, servicing, and internal tools, partnering with the central Cloud and DevSecOps teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

You will mentor architects and engineers, translating business roadmaps into technical outcomes while enforcing standards and best practices across the domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Proven enterprise AWS experience delivering scalable cloud solutions.
• Ability to translate business needs into robust technical designs.
• Strong collaboration across product, engineering and platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud architecture strategy for Digital Platforms across web and tools.
• Lead architecture and delivery of AWS-based solutions for applications and integrations.
• Design end-to-end architectures using AEM and edge/CDN platforms like Fastly.
• Define standards, reference architectures and reusable patterns.
• Enforce non-functional requirements: security, performance, cost.
• Collaborate with Cloud and DevSecOps teams to align on platforms and pipelines.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Provide architectural oversight and mentor senior engineers.
