N-able Technologies Ltd. is seeking a senior, hands-on analytics engineer to design and govern a semantic data layer atop Snowflake, enabling AI-driven analytics and scalable data products.

You will work across BI, data engineering, and governance teams, delivering interactive apps and modernizing dashboards. The role emphasizes building a governed semantic layer, evaluating LLM outputs, and shipping reusable data products while training analysts for broader adoption.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years in business analytics and data engineering with semantic modeling experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience including Cortex Analyst, Cortex Agents, and Cortex Search or similar RAG systems.
• Experience shipping data products that are reused by other teams.
• Strong Python and analytics-engineering fundamentals across Snowflake dynamic tables, streams, tasks, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build governed Snowflake Semantic Views as the shared vocabulary used by AI agents to answer business questions.
• Stand up the evaluation harness for semantic and agentic layers, including golden-question datasets and LLM-a-judge scoring.
• Build logging, monitoring, and lineage across the layer and collaborate on observability for pipelines and data products.
• Curate a verified query repository and instructions to improve answer accuracy over time.
• Ship dynamic Streamlit apps and lightweight data products on top of the semantic layer, modernizing Tableau and Power BI dashboards.
• Crosstrain BI analysts to tune and maintain domain models, forming a hub-and-spoke data platform.
• Embed governance and data quality by default, partnering with Data Governance to meet certification and stewardship requirements.
