Prolific is seeking an Analytics Engineer to lead the transformation and scaling of our data infrastructure. You will own analytics code, semantic layer, and data pipelines, enabling reliable BI and NL querying across teams, while ensuring governance for AI-driven analytics.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and BI to deliver robust data solutions and mentor junior teammates in AI tooling responsibly and with best practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with dbt and SQL to model data.
• Experience defining metrics in a semantic layer for NL querying.
• Hands-on with LLMs in data workflows and governance of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build complex dbt models and robust tests.
• Maintain semantic layer with metrics and dimensions.
• Productionise LLM-powered transformations with evaluation frameworks.
• Design agentic workflows with guardrails and reviews.
• Monitor and maintain dbt jobs and pipelines.
• Document dbt processes and semantic definitions.
• Translate data concepts to business terms.
• Mentor junior analysts and data engineers.
