Job summary

BCB Group is hiring an analytics engineer to own the data warehouse and translate business needs into actionable models.

The role focuses on analytics engineering rather than data engineering or data science, with dbt on BigQuery, cross-system integration, and ownership of the semantic layer. You will collaborate with Finance, Product, Operations, Compliance, Sales and the executive team to deliver timely regulatory reports and automated data workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in analytics engineering or a comparable role.
• A numerate or analytical education helps, but no particular discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the data warehouse: dbt on BigQuery, day to day.
• Ensure data quality and source-of-truth layer changes are managed.
• Join business systems to create a coherent model across CRM, ledgers, and compliance.
• Lead the Lightdash to Omni migration and own semantic layer.
• Handle regulatory and compliance reporting with deadlines.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Operations, Compliance, Sales and executives.
• Automate data workflows to reduce manual steps.
