Job summary

Zendesk in London and Dublin seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to be the primary technical partner for enterprise and commercial accounts. You will map complex business challenges to AI-powered software solutions, spanning discovery, solution design and hands-on configuration.

The role covers managing technical deal cycles, running discovery and POCs, building agentic AI workflows, deploying reusable tools, and feeding field feedback to product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Experience in technical presales or solution engineering is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems and CX/ES domains is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical validation phase of deals and respond to RFPs.
• Create impactful proofs of concept and tailored demonstrations.
• Build and showcase AI-driven workflows using Zendesk features.
• Reuse accelerators, API templates, and middleware for rapid delivery.
• Capture field feedback to inform product roadmap and enhancements.
