Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is seeking an AI Analyst within the Data, Technology and Innovation division. The role focuses on shaping high-value AI opportunities to improve regulatory outcomes, with workshops to surface pain points and translate requirements for AI-enabled solutions.

You will collaborate with data scientists and leadership to prioritise initiatives, drive adoption, and promote best practices in business analysis across the department.

Qualifications

• Senior business analyst or equivalent experience such as Consultant or Product Owner.
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects with waterfall and agile methods.
• Proficient in business analysis techniques and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI opportunities across the organisation.
• Run discovery workshops to surface pain points and processes.
• Influence senior leaders to secure buy-in for AI initiatives.
• Translate challenges into clear functional requirements for AI solutions.
• Prioritise AI initiatives with data scientists and leadership.
• Contribute to the organisation's AI adoption strategy with evidence.
• Promote best practice and knowledge sharing in the department.
• Deliver experimental projects addressing real-world challenges like financial crime.
• Develop capability at the intersection of AI, data, tech and regulation.
