Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Platform team. You will architect, lead and deliver AI-native products powering the platform with scalable production systems.

You will own end-to-end delivery of AI capabilities, integrate LLMs and agentic frameworks, and drive performance through metrics and customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend software engineering experience with Python, Go, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record shipping production-grade systems.
• Experience shipping AI-native products or significant personal AI projects.
• Strong ownership mindset and bias for action.
• BS/MS in CS/Statistics/Math or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: experience with LLMs and agentic systems.
• Preferred: Databricks, Langchain, MLFlow experience.
• Preferred: experience in finance AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution and delivery of AI-native products from prototype to scalable production services.
• Architect, build, and productionize core components of our AI platform including LLMs and the surrounding ecosystem.
• Develop agentic frameworks and core agent capabilities like MCP and cross-platform tool use.
• Enforce technical discipline and operational excellence for all AI products.
• Iterate rapidly on AI products based on performance metrics and user feedback.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of new AI technologies to stay on the frontier.
• Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate goals into technical realities.
