Job summary

Addepar, a global data and AI platform, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to own architecture and delivery of AI-native capabilities across our platform. You will lead end-to-end development, shipping robust, scalable AI-powered solutions for investment workflows.

The role emphasizes ownership, rapid iteration, and collaboration with product teams to translate strategy into robust technical execution. UK work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend software engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• Experience shipping AI-native products or demonstrable AI projects.
• Strong ownership mindset and track record of delivering complex initiatives.
• Bias for action with rapid shipping and iterative improvement.
• Preferred: experience with LLMs and agentic systems in production.
• Preferred: finance domain AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of AI-native products and scalable services.
• Architect, build, and productionize core AI platform components (LLMs, vector stores, tool use).
• Enforce technical discipline and operational excellence for AI products.
• Iterate based on performance metrics and user feedback to improve AI outcomes.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of new AI technologies to stay at the frontier.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate goals into practical technical solutions.
