Job summary

Ashbury is seeking a Senior Software Developer on a contract basis to build AI-assisted regulatory and artwork tools. You will design, write, test and ship code, maturing prototypes into usable production features for advisors in the regulatory and artwork domain.

Key focus areas include Azure-based deployment, OCR/data-processing integrations, and LLM-backed capabilities. You will collaborate with regulatory specialists and the IT team to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior-level software engineering experience with production-grade products.
• Hands-on C#/.NET development and Azure services experience.
• Experience building LLM-backed features with prompt design and guardrails.
• Production deployment of prototypes through controlled rollout.
• Ability to work with regulatory specialists and domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features behind Ashbury’s regulatory and artwork tools, delivering in small releases.
• Choose approaches blending rules, document processing, OCR and generative AI.
• Build LLM-backed features with structured prompting and testing.
• Collaborate with regulatory specialists to translate retailer knowledge into rules.
• Write well-tested code, use Azure DevOps pipelines, document work.
• Follow secure-by-design practices and participate in code reviews.
• Help shape technical direction, including Azure hosting.
