Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead agile and hybrid delivery across multi-disciplinary teams in a product-centric environment. The role focuses on fostering an effective delivery culture, aligning stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across projects.

You will design and embed agile practices, manage roadmaps and releases, and ensure risks are identified and mitigated while maintaining strong relationships with clients and teams globally.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in technology, business, humanities, or engineering.
• Demonstrable experience in Agile Delivery or Programme Management (preferred).
• You have a breadth of experience in agile frameworks and methods and have applied these in multiple stages of the project lifecycle in service or software delivery. You can apply and adapt these pragmatically and innovatively to meet the needs of a team and client. experience working with a range of agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban and lean methodologies, and tools such as Jira, Trello.
• You can build and maintain strong relationships.
• You have experience mediating and mending relationships, and managing expectations of clients and stakeholders.
• You can adjust your delivery management approach, including agile techniques and leadership approach to suit different client context and team needs.
• Strong, stakeholder engagement, team enablement and coaching skills.
• Leadership. You role-model positive and supportive servant leadership behaviours. You know how to adjust your leadership approach to meet the needs of a diverse team and create the right environment to keep team members motivated and empowered. • Experience working with globally dispersed teams.
• Communication - You have strong listening, and verbal and written communication skills, which you can leverage to build relationships and facilitate effectively, asking the right questions to ensure meetings remain focused. You have experience communicating sensitive messages and navigating difficult conversations, steering these towards positive outcomes. Commercial mindset and ability to drive culture change.
• Experience with Pre-Sales, including contributions to proposals to win new business.
• Experience leading Agile delivery in product-centric teams through discovery, alpha and beta phases, embedding continuous delivery, iteration and user-focused improvement.
• Experience in delivering Software Development, Data or Cloud Migration projects.

• Support product and technology leads in managing demand and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.
• Drive Agile or Hybrid projects forward on time, to budget and best quality.
• Stakeholder engagement and management.
• Weekly overview and delivery assurance meeting.
• Standard Delivery Manager duties including project scope, detailed project work-plan, RAID analysis, governance, documentation and risk management.
