Job summary

Version 1 is seeking experienced Delivery Managers to lead agile delivery on government projects, guiding teams to successful outcomes and shaping the growing delivery community. We promote multidisciplinary, T-shaped skills with coaching and a skills academy.

You will act as a key client contact, translating needs into feasible delivery plans while driving continuous improvement in delivery practices and team health across one or two workstreams.

Qualifications

• Breadth of experience in agile frameworks across service or software delivery.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong listening and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience planning roadmaps and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Servant leadership style and fostering positive team culture.
• Familiar with contract frameworks and identifying commercial risks.
• Ability to adapt delivery approach to client context.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery in one or two workstreams with agile methods.
• Ensure delivery through continuous planning and risk management.
• Be primary client contact, translating needs into delivery plans.
• Optimize team culture, performance, and health; improve ways of working.
• Contribute to Farsight delivery management community of practice.
