Job summary
Line Up Aviation is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, develop and modify braking and steering systems for aerospace applications. You will work with ATA32 engineers and interfaces across Systems, Structures, Certification, and Procurement to ensure robust requirement cascades and compliance. The role involves V&V activities and delivering to time, cost and quality in a predominantly on-site setting at Filton.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, with Avionics exposure.
Knowledge of aircraft systems including Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems is desirable.
Understanding of ARP 5150, Part-21A.3, Part-M and CS 25.1309 is beneficial.
Experience leading complex projects and work packages with Time, Cost and Quality delivery.
Responsibilities
Participate in design, development and modifications of braking and steering systems.
Collaborate with ATA32 Engineers, signatories and interfaces (Systems, Structures, Certification, Chief Engineers, Procurement and Vendors).
Support Airbus Commercial ATA32 System activities, introducing new functionality and ensuring requirements cascade.
Lead V&V activities and phase reviews, ensuring safety and technical needs are met.
