Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Landing Gear Systems Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Filton. The role involves design development of braking and steering systems for aerospace applications, with a focus on safety, V&V, and compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate with systems, structures, certification specialists, and procurement, leading work packages and ensuring delivery on time, cost and quality while supporting phase reviews and ongoing safety

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering (Safety and Continued Airworthiness).
• Knowledge of ARP 5150, Part-21A.3, Part-M, CS 25.1309.
• Good knowledge of Aircraft Systems, esp. Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design development and modifications of the Braking and Steering System.
• Collaborate with Systems and Structures, Certification Specialists, Chief Engineers, Procurement and Vendors.
• Support system activities, introducing new functionality and leading system development.
• Support phase reviews and Validation & Verification activities.
