ALTEN is looking for a Systems Architect to join our Bristol team, focusing on aerospace engineering. You will lead the development of aircraft landing gear systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems engineering and knowledge of aircraft systems, especially landing gear. This role offers flexible working arrangements and a supportive work environment, featuring benefits such as private medical insurance and a life insurance scheme.

Formación

• Extensive experience in systems engineering (mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems).
• Familiarity with ARP4754 and ARP4761 standards.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of systems engineering plans aligned with aerospace standards.
• Manage requirements capture, analysis, and flow-down across system levels.
• Oversee requirements validation and verification activities.

Conocimientos

Systems engineering experience in aerospace environments

Knowledge of aircraft systems (landing gear - ATA32)

Requirements management expertise

Familiarity with IBM DOORS

Understanding of airworthiness and certification

Strong communication skills

Educación

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
