Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer specializing in Landing Gear for an 8-month contract based in Filton, with 60% on site involvement. You will support ATA32 related development and modification activities under safety and quality processes.

You will contribute to design development of braking and steering interfaces, support V&V, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on time, cost and quality while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, Safety/Continued Airworthiness experience.
• Knowledge of ARP 5150, Part-21A.3, Part-M and CS 25.1309.
• Strong knowledge of Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems.
• Track record leading complex projects with time, cost and quality.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design development and modifications of the Braking and Steering System.
• Work with other ATA32 Engineers and signatories along with interfaces such as Systems.
• Support Commercial ATA32 System activities, including introducing new functionality to the system.
• Support phase reviews and V&V activities, ensuring safety and technical compliance.
