Job summary

Arm in Filton is seeking a Landing Gear Systems Engineer for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on design development and modifications of braking and steering systems within aerospace.

You will work with cross-functional engineering teams and signatories, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and has aeronautical experience, especially in safety and continued airworthiness.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Aeronautical or Aerospace engineering, especially Safety/Continued Airworthiness.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines (ARP 5150, CS 25.1309).

Responsibilities

• Participate in design development and modifications of braking and steering systems.
• Collaborate with Systems, Structures, Certification specialists, and procurement teams.
• Support system activities, introducing new functionality and ensuring requirements traceability.
• Lead phase reviews, V&V activities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
