Job summary

Standard Life is seeking an experienced Senior Advice Quality Consultant to monitor and improve quality across our Advice business. You will focus on customer outcomes, risk controls and regulatory compliance within a hybrid work model.

You will bring deep knowledge of the regulated Advice landscape, a QC background in financial services, and aqualification at Level 4 or equivalent to support robust controls and service quality.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of the regulated Advice landscape and outcomes.
• Experience in Quality Control or Financial Advice environments.
• Ability to balance customer outcomes, experience, conduct risk and commercial needs.
• Essential Level 4 or Diploma equivalent to progress in the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality monitoring across the Advice business area, including call monitoring and process outputs.
• Assess customer outcomes and experiences under the Quality Framework.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliant, high-standard advice delivery.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Advice Quality Consultant with a strong background in financial services, who is customer and colleague focused, combined with a practical knowledge of risk management and regulatory requirements, ideally with life and pensions knowledge. Previous experience in an Advice Quality Control environment would be an advantage.

As a Senior Advice Quality Control Consultant, you will be accountable for the delivery of quality monitoring across our Advice business area (i.e., call monitoring and process outputs etc.).Quality assessments will focus on both customer outcomes and experience and will be undertaken in accordance with our Quality Framework.

What are we looking for?

• Expert knowledge of regulated Advice landscape.
• Relevant experience in a Quality Control and/or Financial Advice.
• Ability to successfully strike balance between ensuring good customer outcomes, customer experience, conduct risk and commerciality.
• Minimum Level 4 qualified in Financial Planning or Diploma equivalent (essential without we cannot progress).
