Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our ANP team in West Dunbartonshire. The post supports clinical leadership across four pillars: clinical practice, leadership, education and research.

36 hours per week, fixed-term for 2 years, with potential sponsorship considerations where applicable. Applicants must hold a live NMC UK pin and be prepared to contribute to high-quality patient care, service delivery and CPD.

Qualifications

• Live NMC UK pin required.
• Qualified ANP or working towards final sign-off; suitable for primary or advanced level in secondary care.

Responsibilities

• Take and record a patient’s history with sensitivity to confidential information.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical examination and mental health assessments as appropriate.
• Screen patients for disease using clinical findings and investigations.
• Make diagnostic decisions and formulate differential diagnoses.
• Prescribe treatment including non-medical prescribing (V300).
• Lead, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve service delivery.
