Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is inviting applications for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our ANP team in West Dunbartonshire. The role provides clinical leadership across four pillars: clinical practice, leadership, education and research, with autonomy to assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for patients with complex needs.

Candidates should hold a live NMC pin and a master’s level qualification, be eligible for sponsorship where required, and be prepared for a fixed-term

Qualifications

Qualified ANP with live NMC pin and eligible for registration in Scotland.
Experience in primary or secondary care at an advanced level preferred.
Evidence-based practice and leadership in care delivery.

Responsibilities

Take and record patient history with sensitivity and confidentiality.
Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments.
Screen for disease using investigations and lab results.
Make diagnostic decisions using clinical data and tests.
Prescribe medications as a Non-medical Prescriber (V300).
Lead clinical practice, education, and research within the team.
