Job summary

hyperexponential (hx) is building an AI-powered insurance platform that enables critical pricing and underwriting decisions for a global market. Solutions Engineering leads the Technical Win by designing high-impact demos, executing complex POVs, and advising customers through the sales process with deep scientific and domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience coding in Python.
• Experience as an Actuary, Underwriter or Technical Broker.
• Exposure to technical, customer-facing work in a B2B SaaS, data-driven environment.
• Experience supporting multi-stakeholder conversations.
• Ability to build, adapt, or explain technical artefacts.
• Clear communication and follow-through.
• Strong ownership and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales motion for complex opportunities, driving the technical win across discovery, demos, proofs of value, and technical evaluations.
• Design and deliver high-impact, persona-led demos for actuaries, underwriters, IT, and exec stakeholders.
• Run technically ambitious POVs addressing complex or novel customer use cases.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process, handling deep technical questions.
• Rapidly build deep expertise in hx Renew, Python-based workflows, insurance pricing and AI use cases.
• Feed real-world customer insight back into Product and Engineering to shape future capabilities.
