hyperexponential is building an AI‑powered platform to transform pricing and underwriting in a multi‑product, global market. The Staff Platform Engineer will set the technical direction, define architecture standards, and enable engineering teams to move faster with autonomous, AI‑augmented workflows.

You will shape security, reliability, and operational excellence while coaching other engineers and aligning platform work with long‑term business outcomes. Equity is offered.

Formación

• Defined the architecture, standards, and patterns for the platform domain over a multi‑quarter horizon.
• Navigated disagreement across senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders to durable decisions.
• Designed AI and automation embedded into the platform at an architectural level.
• Shaped the platform roadmap based on feedback, usage data, and friction analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Establish a coherent 12–18 month technical direction for the platform with clearly articulated milestones.
• Drive broad adoption of platform capabilities by reducing friction and bottlenecks.
• Define architectural patterns for autonomous and AI‑augmented workflows across the organisation.
• Embed security, reliability, and operational excellence into platform standards.
• Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical authority across teams.
• Represent platform strategy to senior leadership with clear business context.
