RG Consultancy are working with a very well-established manufacturing company based in Winsford who are looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant to support the day to day transactional finance function. This is a hands on role working closely with and assisting the Finance Manager in an all-around fashion

The Role

  • Support the purchase and sales ledger process within the department
  • Process suppliers payments and expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control support
  • Develop and maintain suppler and customer relationships
  • Support and assist with production of management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide audit support where required
  • Other ad hoc tasks required to support the finance manager

The Person

  • AAT qualified or studying would be highly advantageous
  • At least 2 years' experience within a similar finance or accounting role
  • Strong IT skills including MS office and particularly MS Excel
  • Experience using SAGE would be an advantage
  • No prior people management or team lead experience required, however working within a semi senior position would be an advantage
