Qualifications
Essential criteria

  • AAT Technician or Equivalent qualification/experience.
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Maths & English).
Desirable criteria
  • Proven commitment to Continuing development.
Knowledge & Expertise
Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of financial systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Intermediate Access with advanced keyboard skills where speed and accuracy of data entry are necessary.
  • Be able to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Awareness of the NHS Finance Regime and the working of NHS bodies
Desirable criteria
  • An understanding of NHS accounting policies and procedures.
Experience
Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of working within a financial environment.
  • Experience of using General Ledger and periphery electronic modules.
Desirable criteria
  • Familiar with working in a multidisciplinary environment/team.
