Barry Bennett Ltd is a leading supplier of assistive technology to students receiving DSA (Disabled Students’ Allowance) across the UK. We provide installation, training, and aftercare to students recommended assistive technology following an assessment of study needs.

Bennett Workplace Solutions Ltd offers comprehensive workplace adjustment services, including needs assessments, coaching, assistive technology, and ergonomic products.

Due to increased workload, we are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing financial administrative support, supporting both businesses in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts email inboxes
  • Respond to calls from students, suppliers, and customers
  • Input purchase ledger entries and process invoices against purchase orders
  • Handle purchase ledger enquiries via email and phone
  • Manage credit card and expense reconciliations
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Assist with payment runs and month-end processes
  • Support year-end procedures
  • Perform general finance administrative duties as needed
Requirements
  • QBE or part-qualified in AAT
  • Strong finance knowledge
  • Analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
