Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking a Senior Accountant in Chester to manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses in a client-facing role. The role is permanent, full-time and hybrid, with a salary of £45,000 to £50,000.

You will oversee accounts planning, reviewing and finalisation, advise on accounts and related matters, and support directors while training trainees. A strong commercial mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice is essential.
• Excellent IT skills with experience of accounting software.
• Be a proactive self-starter and also an effective team player with a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Ownership and management of a portfolio of clients, predominantly owner managed companies.
• Client facing role - main contact for these clients.
• Accounts for clients - planning, reviewing and finalisation.
